BLCB Sim is Done
Written by Mark Olstad

BLCB sim is done and we have 3 double digit seeds remaining... very similar to the real life tournament! Except in this one, the #16 Manhattan Jaspers, who shocked the BLCB world by beating #1 seed Florida in the first round, have continued shooting lights out, and have become the first 16 seed in the Sweet Sixteen! Also joining them is #14 seed Southern Utah. Let us know your thoughts on the unfolding tourney on the forums! I'll be gone this weekend, so the next sim will run on Monday, April 4th in the evening. I'm still contemplating getting a yuuguu server so we can get everyone together to watch some of the final tournament games.
Awards were announced in this sim. Virginia Tech QB Jason Powell brought home the Heisman Trophy. Congrats to Virginia Tech Head Coach Jay Nemecek on winning Coach of the Year.
Next sim is Conference Championships and will run on Thursday @ 7pm EST.
BLCB sim is done and we officially will not have a repeat national champion, as a #16 seed has knocked off #1 Florida! We had quite a few other upsets... a #14 seed won, a classic #12 won over a #5, and THREE #11 seeds won! Let us know how your teams are doing... looks like we'll have at least one double digit seed guaranteed in the Sweet Sixteen as #11 Rutgers faces #14 Southern Utah. Let us know your tournament thoughts on the forums! Next sim will run on Wednesday, March 30th in the evening.
Did your team make the cut? Let us know what you think of the upcoming tournament on the forums! Next sim will run on Monday, March 28th in the evening.
BLCB sim is complete and the regular season is done! Next up, conference championships. I can't remember if I introduced Alfred Baber to the league, who has taken over Houston as Alfred Baber and St John's as Coach Louie. Also, we have another new coach: Rob Stanley is taking over Marquette as well as his other coach, Bill Cosby, taking over Temple. Next sim will run on Friday, March 25th in the evening. I'll let you guys know if I can get some kind of web-conferencing program for us to watch some tournament games in.
Congrats to all the conference regular season winners:
America East - New Hampshire Atlantic 10 - Saint Louis ACC - Maryland Atlantic Sun - Belmont Big East - Syracuse Big Sky - Montana Big South - High Point Big Ten - Ohio State Big Twelve - Kansas Big West - Long Beach St CAA - VCU C-USA - Memphis Horizon - Detroit Independents - Longwood Ivy - Princeton Metro-Atlantic - Niagara Mid-American - Central Michigan Mid-Eastern Atlantic - Norfolk St Missouri Valley - Southern Illinois Mountain West - Utah Northeast - Sacred Heart Ohio Valley - Tennessee-Martin Pac-10 - Stanford Patriot - Lafayette SEC - Kentucky/Auburn Southern - The Citadel Southland - Nicholls St Southwestern Athletic - Grambling Sun Belt - Western Kentucky Summit - Southern Utah WCC - Gonzaga WAC - New Mexico St
For a lot of these conferences, it won't matter, whoever wins the tournament gets in! Big congrats to Memphis, Western Kentucky, and Gonzaga for going undefeated in conference play.
BLCB sim is done and the in-game date is now February 19th. We had a little shuffling with rankings/RPI in the top 3. Maryland had an invalid export (2nd sim in a row... not getting an issue with your VCU though if you're submitting that). Next sim will bring us through the end of the regular season and just prior to conference championship and announcing the NCAA field! Next sim will run on Tuesday, March 22nd in the evening.
BLCB sim is done and the in-game date is now February 5th. There are no longer any undefeated teams! Next sim will run Saturday, March 19th, after 4 EST.
West Virginia RB Brian Farmer is the winner of the 2021 Heisman Trophy. Farmer rushed for 2,209 yards and 21 touchdowns, and had 130 receptions for 1,325 yards and 11 touchdowns. The Junior tailback lead the Mountaineers to a 11-2 record on the season.

2015 was a fine season for Atlanta right fielder Leo Hart and it became official today that he had won the National batting title with an impressive .332 mark. In 150 games he piled up 212 hits, 32 doubles, 1 triple, 17 home runs, 84 RBIs and 93 runs scored.
