| BLFB News: The Offseason Begins
Wednesday, November 3rd, 2010: It's time to put another BLFB season in the ledger. General managers must make key personnel and financial decisions during the offseason. A lot will be happening -- trades or player signings could send shock waves throughout the league. Hirings, firings and retirings will happen over the next several months. But most important, general managers must choose a direction and steer their teams as well as they can toward a championship berth next season.
You may now manually select the league award winners, the option is available in the league menu. If you want the AI to select the awards, simply ignore the option.

 | Jackson Wins BLFB World Series Crown
Monday, November 1st, 2010: This is the time of the year when grown men are sometimes reduced to tears. This year the Jackson Huskies shed tears of joy and the Ogden Outlaws shed some sad ones, all because of a baseball game.
The Huskies eliminated the Outlaws today 6-2 at Showboats Ballpark and locked up their 1st Big League Fictional Baseball BLFB World Series championship, winning the series 4-3.
The Huskies finished the regular season in the Frontier League American Division with a 85-78 record, ending up in third place in the division standings.
