"He's mixing his pitches real well and keeping his composure on the mound," the Winston-Salem manager said. "When Klipp does that, good things happen."
These comments came after Justin Klipp and the Winston-Salem Warthogs shut out the Salem Avalanche 2-0.
He had 3 strikeouts, no walks and allowed 2 hits.

The strong arm of Michael Crotta dealt a lot of misery to the Warthogs. He tossed a complete-game shutout to spark the Lynchburg Hillcats to a 6-0 win. In today's contest at Ballpark of Lynchburg, Crotta limited Winston-Salem to 4 hits and had 7 strikeouts and 2 walks.
