| Breaking News |  | Tim Beckham out of Lineup One Week
Tuesday, March 19th, 2013: Cleveland fans will be disappointed to learn that Tim Beckham suffered a forearm strain while throwing the ball in today's game. After the doctor informed the Cleveland Indians manager that Beckham was expected to miss one week, the manager told the press that the rest of the team would have to step up their play until the shortstop could return. "You can't make excuses in baseball, because there's always a game tomorrow," said the team's skipper.

 | Pirates Watts Suffers 4-Game Suspension
Monday, March 18th, 2013: Pittsburgh catcher Kris Watts was ejected in the game between the Pirates and Diamondbacks for letting loose a profanity-laced tirade against the home plate umpire after some calls didn't go the way he wanted. Watts was incensed in the loss to Arizona and was just as angry after the game.
"These guys are a joke. How can people expect to take this game seriously when you have games like this?" Watts said in the locker room after the game.
Now Watts must face the consequences of this actions. League officials released this brief statement to the media: "We are regretful that Watts has taken this to the level that it has reached. The league will not tolerate this type of conduct. Due to his actions during and after the game, the league is suspending him for 4 games."

 | Scott Kazmir Hurt, Out 8 Months
Tuesday, March 12th, 2013: Chicago learned today that they will be without starting pitcher Scott Kazmir for 8 months. Kazmir was injured throwing a pitch and sustained a torn labrum. He was hurt in the game against the New York Mets.
